Demitrios Lopez is a lecturer of both Ancient Greek and Latin. He lives with his beautiful daughter and puppy dog in Texas.

Demitrois grew up in the 80s. As a child, he loved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. In fact, book I of the Σ Series began as He-Man fan fiction. As he grew, Demitrios lost himself in the Conan the Barbarian stories of Robert E. Howard. Seeing 1982’s Conan the Barbarian film had a major impact on his love of genre fiction. Later, Braveheart inspired him to be a student of history. As an undergraduate, someone handed Demitrios a copy of Steven Pressfield’s Gates of Fire. That book changed the course of his life. Those who know the writers and films mentioned above can easily see their influence on the Σ Series.

Follow the Σ Series in Book I: Thumos Rising, and Women of the Red Sky, a short story set in the world of the Σ series, although not directly related. Book II: Thumos Furens is coming in early 2025.
